Cara Mirabella is the blogger, pod-caster and coach behind TheHouseholdHelper, a site providing tips and resources for cleaning, organizing, meal planning and more. A former “domestically challenged” wife and mom, Cara became passionate about homemaking when she realized there are easier ways to do things. She’s a self-proclaimed cheater homeaker. “If there’s a quicker, easier, cheaper way to do something in my home, I’ll do it so I can spend more quality time with my family.”
Through her blog and talk show, she shares with other moms the tips, tricks and tools to help them save their time, money and sanity when managing their home and family. Cara has also written several how-to guides and created a boot camp for mom’s in need of some serious help.
And why do her methods work when so many others fail? Simply put – someone who has not only been in your shoes and lived to tell the tale but managed to inspire others to do the same by giving them genuine support along with the resources and tools to create a new reality.
Cara is a work-at-home-mom, taking care of her husband, son and critters. She lives in Northern New Jersey, about 40 minutes from NYC. When she’s not blogging or podcasting, Cara works on customizing WordPress blogs for local small businesses.
Besides homemaking, Cara loves reading and is an avid gardener as well as an active volunteer for The March Of Dimes and her local animal shelter.
