6 Tasks I Did In 15 Minutes
Every book you read on getting your home under control, organizing and de-cluttering recommends doing tasks in small increments of time. The majority say 15 minutes.
Think that’s not enough time to accomplish anything? But it’s enough time to straighten up my kitchen after dinner. To prove my point, here is a list of 6 tasks I completed in 15 minutes this evening after dinner.
- Emptied sink/loaded dish washer
- Cleaned the inside of the microwave
- Cleaned off counter tops and stove
- Swept the floor
- Emptied recycling can
- Made a pot of coffee
Seriously, 15 minutes is all it took to complete these 6 tasks – and now my kitchen is clean and tidy. How did I do this?
- Fill a bowl with water and lemon juice – cook in microwave for 6 minutes
- Set-up coffee maker and turn on
- Spray the counters and stove with cleaner
- Empty the sink into dish washer
- Take the recycling can outside and empty
- Wipe out the microwave
- Wipe down the counters and stove
- Sweep the floor
- Pour a cuppa joe!
You CAN accomplish something in 15 minutes. Go ahead, give it a try. I dare ya!
