    My daily makeup routine is:
    1. Wash my face
    2. Apply toner
    3. Apply moisturizer
    4. Apply lipstick
    5. Eyeliner (some days)

I’m in a need of a make up bag. Just gave away my favorite one to my daughter who has had her eye on it for a while. She’s off to her 1st year at college in a week so I’m happy to give it to her. But now I need a makeup bag. Those bags at Mama Bags look fabulous!

Thanks for sponsoring this contest Mama Bags and Congratulations Cara on your site’s Anniversary. I love The Household Helper site!

  2. I don’t have a daily routine.:-(

I’m usually “bare-faced” – see why I need to win some good make up and a bag to put it in!?

If I won, I would do my best to put MY face on every day, too, Cara.

P.S. I’m sure my husband would appreciate it, too.

Working at home, I don’t do my makeup every day unless I’m going somewhere. So when I do, I put on my foundation (mineral powdered kind), blush, lip liner with Chapstick over it, curl lashes and put on mascara. Sometimes I’ll use eyeliner and an eyebrow pencil.

I’m finding that the older I get the less makeup I wear.

  4. Shower/wash with Dove
    Dry
    Apply moisturizer
    Style hair

When I’m really ambitious or have a meeting that matters – mascara, eyeshadow, lipstick

Even though I’m getting older, I still have pretty good skin so I rarely mess with foundation or other stuff.

  5. Susanne says:

Note… all of this doesn’t happen until I had at least 2 cups of coffee and checked my email.

    1) Wash face and brush teeth
    2) Apply eye cream in hopes of eventually diminishing the black circles around my eyes
    3) Apply chap stick
    4) Pull hair up with a clip to get it out of my face.

    Done

If i feel really ambitious I might throw on some mascara as well.

I’m a first-time Momma so my make-up routine nowadays is not what it used to be. LOL! Most days, I find a quick foundation, eye shadow & liner application will do with a touch of chapstick and i’m on my way. However, when little Miss DD allows me to have some time my routine usually goes like this.

    1. Wash my face (this includes cleanser, toner, moisturizer and SPF – spf is important you know)
    2. Apply Face Primer
    3. Apply Concealor (Covering up those baggy, dark circle eyes and some of these wrinkles. ahh!)0
    4. Apply Foundation (gotta keep that skin protected from every day harmfuls. Plus, it covers up all those imperfections like uneven skin tone and redness)
    5. Apply Eye Shadow
    6. Apply Eye Liner
    7. Apply Water Proof Mascara
    8. Apply Blush/Face Color
    9. Apply Lip Liner
    10. Apply Lipstick
    11. Apply Finishing Dust (usually one with SPF)
    12. Spritz face with Facial Spray

I have a TON of mineral make up and as it stands right now, it’s all in a shoe box. I’ve been meaning to find a make up bag but just havent found “the perfect one” I’ve even contemplated those rubber maide three drawer containers.

Jenn’s bags are fabulous and I’d love to be able to win one of them. I would store my make up with pride. :)

  7. Mary Jenkins says:

I don’t wear make-up daily. When going out, I wear mineral powder and lip gloss. Looking haggard lateley and feel I’d benefit from a little face paint!

  8. Michelle says:

I don’t wear makeup daily…but I don’t always leave the house either. This Sunday, I got home from church and realized I had forgotten to put on makeup. Maybe winning this giveaway will help me get more disciplined.

  9. My daily stay-at-home makeup routine is rather sad. Wash my face in the shower, or if I showered the night before, I re-clean my face with a baby wipe. Then if I’m lucky I remember to put on lipstick.

If I’ll be leaving the house, I do the whole shebang – eye cream, moisturizer, mineral makeup, eyes, lips, the works.

Thanks for such a great giveaway!

  10. Sue Cahill says:

I’m more of a “natural” girl but I have found the need for more makeup as I get older. My skintone is more uneven and sort of blotchy, but not many wrinkles so that is good.
I wear a mineral powder makeup, concealer, blush and a little finishing powder. Lip gloss sometimes but my lips are really red naturally so I don’t use color on them.
Thanks for offering this giveaway, it would be really fun to win and to experiment with some differnt cosmetics.

  11. robin says:

How cool! count me in! My routine is a pretty quick one for everyday.
    Wash
    moisturize
    concealer
    foundation
    eyebrows
    touch of eyeliner
    mascara

When I go out i usually put a little more into it, like eyeshadow, maybe blush.
    Thanks!

A new part of my makeup routine now that I’ve gotten older is moisurizer. What happened to my soft, smooth skin? So, I do eyeliner, moisturizer, foundation, eye shadow, blush, powder, and mascara. I rarely where lipstick or lipgloss because it doesn’t stay on, even the “stay-on” kind.

Thanks for a great giveaway opportunity!

  13. Janet F says:

I don’t wear full makeup daily in the summer.

I wash my face and apply eye cream and facial moisturizer.
Next I put concealer under my eyes and then I brush on a little blush.

If it is not real hot out I will also apply eyeliner and in the evening, lipstick.
    Thank you!

  14. Angie says:

I do wear make up pretty much every day but don’t have a routine other than it goes on after I take a shower LOL Nothing too exciting. I wear foundation, powder, blush, mascara and lip gloss/stick. Fun giveaway, thanks for the chance to enter.

  15. Nine times out of ten I wake up and put on a little powder, add a shimmer shadow in a neutral color, if Im feeling fancy I wear a little mascara and gloss. However I do go all out if its a night out, a whole extra coat of mascara and maybe and accent shadow with the neutral shimmer, and if Im feeling a little “hey look at me” I wear actual lip color. And it takes my less time to put it on that it took me to type out this comment!

  16. Doreen says:

I don’t have much of a routine really for make-up! I have dry skin so I use some Curel lotion on my face, apply some green concealer and some chapstick and lip gloss. That’s it for me. :) If I’m going somewhere special…I will put on Mascara and maybe some of my eyeliner. Love the Retro Dots in black from Mamabags!

  17. Amy says:

I don’t think I really have any daily routine. If I go out of the house I put make-up on but if I don’t – than I don’t put any on.

    And it’s always pretty simple:

    foundation
    a little blush
    a little eye shadow (sometimes)
    mascara (always)
    and a lip gloss

  18. Can I share what my routine is like ladies?
    Haha!
I’m much the same way in that I don’t wear makeup all the time, but I do if I’m going to my shop or going out which is usually on the weekend.

However, I can’t stand to wear traditional liquid foundatins anymore and thanks to my stupid hormones, my skin is bad!

Lovely what having children will do to your skin, eh?
can’t wait to see who wins!

I don’t wear makeup at home, but when I go out, I put on some lipstick and always do up my eyes :) I love eyeliner!

  20. Aleese says:

My daily make up routine? My routine is laughable. Most days I get up and get the kids ready, fed, and happy and it’s long into the afternoon that I even think of putting on any make up. I’m sure my husband would appreciate a little more effort on my part, but even if I wanted to now, my 4 year old decided to use it all for paints for his cars last week! :D I’d like to dress up for him a little more often though. He works hard all day and he deserves it. :)

  21. Paige says:

I’d love to enter, thank you.

Most days I just scrube my face. And use a little foundation and lipgloss. Usually just the spf lipgloss. But when I actually go somewhere, I use a bit of blush and eyeliner, eyeshadow, and mascara as well. Thanks so much for the opportunity.

  27. I can’t seem to find a foundation that works. It either breaks my face out or is so obvious I’m wearing it no matter what shade I use I have finally giving up on wearing it. First I apply eye shawdow in three different shades in three different area of my eye lids then I apply my eyeliner then black, blue or purple eye shawdow depending on what I’m wearing. Then a little hint of blush but not much. Then I apply lip liner and last a shade of lipstick to match my entire makeup. Thanks have having this great giveaway.

  28. Elizabeth M. says:

I wash my face and apply facial moisturizer. Then I apply foundation, powder, blush, and mascara. That’s about it. It’s very simple and fast.
