Blog Trip Day 3 – Let’s Eat!

You’re hungry? What are you in the mood for? We’ve got everything in NJ – there are ‘mom and pop’ restaurants everywhere for any kind of food you’re in the mood for. But if you’re not from around here, we can always go to one of those chain restaurants if you want. We have REAL pizza, REAL Chinese and REAL bagels here. (I say real because it’s just not as good elsewhere.)

If you ever come to visit me we’re going to eat at the diner! NOT Perkins, NOT IHOP, NOT Denny’s – THE DINER. Where you can order breakfast 24/7 with a side of Disco Fries (french fries with mozzarella cheese and brown gravy).

The diner is the place that I can have breakfast with the family after church, lunch with the girls, dinner with hubby and little man, and a snack at 3am after a night of clubbing. Snack is usually taylor ham, egg and cheese on a salt bagel with a side of Disco Fries and coffee.

At our diner, you can still order a “Happy Waitress” (open faced grilled cheese with bacon and tomato) and the daily specials always includes some form of a Tuna Melt. Oh and the cheesecake – DINER CHEESECAKE ROCKS!

OK, I’m hungry now. Wanna meet at the diner?
