CVS Update

Well I’m one happy camper now. Today’s visit was much more pleasant than yesterday’s.
I went back to the CVS and spoke with a manager, Amy, about my coupon dilemma. She totally understood my frustration with not being able to use my additional coupons. She promptly scanned them into her register and handed me $12 CASH. I asked her, if just a week before I was able to use multiple CVS coupons, why couldn’t I this particular visit. Her response was that it is up to the individual manager to make the decision.
Even to Amy, a manager, the legalities of the printable CVS coupons are blurry. They state ‘one coupon per customer’ but just what makes it ‘one coupon’? I consider the $3/$15, $4/$20, $5/$30, $10/$50 and $15/$75 coupons each their own separate coupon. Amy figures the other managers understanding is one printable coupon per customer, which doesn’t make sense either because I used the $2/$10 coupon and the $4 off for signing up for the CVS mail list, both of which are printable. Amy’s suggestion is to split my cart into different transactions to take advantage of the coupons. {big sigh} I know this is what I should do, it’s been mentioned before. But I’m not good at math. Oh well, I’ll bring a calculator and do my best.
I think I need to investigate further the actual CVS policy. But for now, I’m happy. My original purchase of $111.41 has now cost me $28.27 OOP. HELLO! A savings of 74.63%!
As far as the attitude I received from the assistant manager yesterday, I received a heartfelt apology from Amy with assurance that it shouldn’t happen again. So I left the store happy and satisfied, and when I yelled over my shoulder “Have a nice day”, this time I meant it.
If anyone has any official information as to the CVS coupon policy, I’m shouting out for some help! I’d like to fully understand it to avoid these complications in the future.

Hey Cara,
I went yesterday and used two on one purchase and the cashier told me two at a time were the limit (I had a third that I handed her and she returned it.)
