Friday Faves: Preemie Edition

I’ve blogged a couple times in honor of Prematurity Awareness Month. Today, I’m sharing some link love to my fellow preemie parent bloggers.

First, Kristie McNealy, MD is the host of Blogging For Prematurity Awareness. She’s got lots and lots of great posts telling her story as well as lots of useful information.

Chicago Moms Blogger Susan shared 17 gifts her preemie twins have given her (warning: you might need a tissue!)

Everyday Adventures has blogged about her preemie twins and autism – boy does she have her hands full!

Premature Grandmother is a wonderful blog – reading the perspective of a preemie grandma is enlightening. PLUS, she makes preemie clothes available at Elliot’s Preemie Tees.

Darcy shares a touching post at Life With My 3 Boybarians about missing her son’s christening.

Blogging for Prematurity has brought up so many memories and emotions. Reading other people’s blogs about their preemies has made me feel so thankful for the smooth ride we’ve had (after the initial dramatic birth of little dude).

The March of Dimes has taken on the devastating problem of Prematurity—to find out what causes it and how it can be stopped.

Friday Faves: The Mom Blogs

I’m going to provide lots of link love in this week’s Friday Faves! I’m giving you my fave blogs that I read on a daily basis! Note: These are NOT WAHM Blogs – I’ll save the business blogs for another day. These aren’t the organizing/homemaking blogs I read either. These are fun, money saving, informative mom blogs.

My pal Tricia is brutally honest. I love how she just opens her heart and pours it into her blog.

ICANHASCHEEZBURGER – I love love love this! Not only am I obsessed with cats, but I have a silly, stupid sense of humor. I also check out IHASAHOTDOG – LOL pictures of dogs. (OK, neither is a mom blog, but moms should go there every day for a chuckle).

ContestForMoms.com – contests, freebies, and sweepstakes – oh my!

MommyCommunity.com – Marie is fabulous and brings you memes, products and a podcast. She also runs several online events just for moms.

BlissfullyDomestic.com – Ok I am a contributor, but I just love these gals! Great real world advise and information – and they all have a wicked sense of humor!!

MomsTalkNetwork – Again, great information provided by a variety of real-world moms and women.

Being a parent of a preemie, I read Preemie News and NICU 101. I wish the March of Dimes had a blog too.

Aurelia at RealLifeSolutions is a fellow WAHM and my personal life coach. She will also be listed with the WAHM blogs later. She gives WOMEN great information, straight from the hip.
