Spring Cleaning Week!
Spring cleaning is a task that many people dread. You have to get rid of all your winter clutter and get rid of all the cobwebs lurking in dark places. But I look at spring cleaning as an opportunity. It’s an occasion to clear out the clutter and start over fresh. It’s a chance to give your house a makeover and create a home that is clean and organized.
From March 30 – April 3, 2010, TheHouseholdHelper is hosting Spring Cleaning Week.
While there is no real way to make spring cleaning fun, I’m hoping to make it tolerable by giving you the how-to’s and resources you’ll need- plus a little motivation. For the entire week, I’ll be posting on my blog all my tips, tricks and tools to help you get your home decluttered, cleaned and organized this Spring. I’ll be sharing how I spring clean my own home.

Hate housework? Doing a little bit each day saves having to be a slave to your house at the end of the week. Tidy up small messes as they occur…every little bit makes a difference.
There are always jobs around your house that literally only take a minute to do-dusting the TV screen; emptying a wastebasket; cleaning a mirror or 2; changing the bathroom towels. These jobs might seem insignificant, but not when you have to do them all at once!
Don’t procrastinate! The more you procrastinate, the more you worry about the horrid errand your trying to avoid, the larger or more dire the job becomes…it’s a vicious circle. Better it is then, to get in and get the worst job done first. The rest will then seem like a breeze.
