Talk Show Episode #23: Working From Home

This week I’m joined by Nicole Dean of ShowMomTheMoney.com. Many times I’ve been asked “How do you balance working from home, life and the tasks of the home management senerio?” .  Nicole and I have a fun and informative chat about finding balance when you’re a work at home mom.

The key points we talked about are:

  • Setting up office space
  • Teaching your family to respect your time
  • Planning ahead
  • Remembering that you’re a word in progress

Listen in as the two of us discuss this all – and find out why I think Nicole’s husband is a keeper! This was a really fun interview for me – and you can tell by how much Nicole and I giggle and laugh!

I’d love to hear your thoughts on working at home. Any tips, ideas or more questions? Please leave them in the comments!

Loved this show ladies! The bathroom story was hilarious…had me crackin’ up!

I have my own work area but it’s not completely off limits as it’s right when you walk in our front door and right next to the living room where the kids are most of the time.

I’m sure once my teeny ones get older things will get easier, but I’m doing what I can now to make sure that happens just as you guys said, I too am raising two husbands! :)

Arikas last blog post..I Really Do Love Being a Mom…even on days like these!
